Philip King

Philip began his 32 year career in insurance assisting commercial clients with opting out of the Workers Comp system and adding Occupational Accident coverage instead. This led to other opportunities in the industry and in 2004 Philip opened his own agency in Abilene, Philip King Insurance. From there his focus remained on the commercial sector, but his agency slowly evolved into a one-stop shop for all lines of personal and commercial insurance. Due to his desire to get back to his roots and get out and “spread some love” as he says, in 2023 Philip sold his agency to White Wing Insurance and is now getting back to what he loves most…getting out and meeting new people and being an insurance advisor for their business. Philp’s extensive knowledge in all things insurance and his years of experience in the commercial insurance industry are matched by few.

Philip married his lovely wife Tammi in 1998 and together they have one son Jordan, who recently married his wife Mia. During his spare time away from the office Philip enjoys volunteering his time at the ECCA VFD(where he serves as President), welding and woodworking in his shop, and spending time with his family.
